Our students can expect to get personalised attention from our dedicated and friendly staff. Coach Rahneer has been training in mixed martial arts for over 20 years. Our experienced trainers regularly train for 15 hours per week and compete regularly. We have programs to meet your training goals whether it’s general fitness through to tournament competition.

We make sure that you leave each class feeling confident with what you have learned that day and excited to return for the next session.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) is a self-defence martial art and combat sports based on grappling, ground fighting and submissions. It focuses on the skill of controlling one's opponent, gaining a dominant position and using a number of techniques to force them in to submission via joint locks or chokeholds. The principles of BJJ are based on the idea that someone who is smaller can take down a larger opponent, regardless of size.

STX (Savate-Thai Cross Training)

The STX (Savate-Thai Cross Training) Program is a hybrid striking system developed by Erik Paulson which focuses on explosive techniques in Boxing, Panatukan, Jun Fan/JKD Kickboxing, Savate, and MuayThai (Thai & Dutch methods). In STX Kickboxing, students will learn a blend of elbows, punches and knees from each art. These skills are easily translated in MMA, kickboxing, and self-defense situations. From glove drills, focus mitts, Thai-pads, to sparring, students will have a variety of striking options.

​This is the sparring-based class. Student must understand all the basic required techniques before attending.

Shooto

Shooto is a Japanese martial arts similar to mixed martial arts and it was created by Satoru Sayama. This martial arts was formed in 1985 and is also known as a form of Japanese shoot wrestling.

“The punching and kicking ranges are primarily cultivated through modified Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) training methods. The Muay Thai training methods are modified in order to compensate for the grappling and throwing involved in Shooto match. The majority of throwing, grappling, and wrestling techniques in Shooto are incorporated from English Catch-As-Catch-Can Wrestling, Russian Sambo, and Japanese Judo“.

Shooto, also known as Shoot Wrestling, combines punching, kicking, throwing, and submissions in a dynamic martial art offering the best of many traditional martial arts. Shooto's founder, Satoru Sayama, incorporated techniques from Muay Thai, Catch-As-Catch-Can wrestling, Russian Sambo, and Japanese Judo to create "a totally combative sport martial art." Shooto was one of the first true mixed martial arts systems, with amateur matches starting in 1986 and professional matches in 1989.

Combat Submission Wrestling (CSW)

COMBAT SUBMISSION WRESTLING (CSW) blends various martial arts including but not limited to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Russian Sambo, Freestyle Wrestling, Greco-Roman Wrestling, Shootwrestling, Judo and Catchascatchcan. The CSW system includes techniques and submissions from all these arts and trains the individual to strike, clinch, takedown, and submit on the ground in either a sport, Mixed Martial Art (MMA), or self-defence environment.

Muay Thai

Muay Thai or Thai boxing is the national sports and cultural martial art of Thailand. It was developed several hundreds of years ago as a form of close-combat that utilises the entire body as a weapon.

Thai is known as the “art of eight limbs” for the eight parts of the body that are used for striking: two hands, two legs, (shins mostly), two elbows, and two knees.
