Currently Powercore MMA offers tuition in Thai Kick Boxing, Boxing, Combat Submission Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai and Strength and Conditioning plus Children’s BJJ and MMA as well as Personal Training. Everybody is welcome and we have programs for beginners through to professional fighters. Although Powercore MMA has a reputation as one of the top fight schools in Sydney we are dedicated to teaching self defence and fitness through the teachings of combat sports.

Student safety is very important to the instructors at Powercore MMA. Therefore, any concerns about getting “Smashed” are completely untrue.

Powercore MMA, was an idea to combine 25 years of Mixed Martial Arts experience and the various disciplines of MMA into one gym that would cater for everything and everyone. We began in Belmore in 2007 and quickly started turning heads in the MMA community. We began by offering classes in the various MMA skills but soon had some of our students wanting to take their journeys to the next level, and compete. So began our very dedicated group of fighters. Some have moved on to pursue other interests and a very talented few have stayed with Powercore MMA and become an intergral part of our gym.

Our first gym at Belmore was a fantastic community based facility, our neighbours were very supportive and many a fitness goal was realised and many of our members flourished, but Powercore MMA needed to grow and develope. So after many a long discussion we decided to find a new address, Marrickville.

Our new gym in Marrickville is bigger with room to grow, and more variety in classes plus a central location that makes it easier to get to. We hope Powercore MMA will be the gym of choice for students, professionals and men and women of all ages in Marrickville and the surrounding areas.
